Have you ever wondered what it would be like to throw on the wheel? Come find out with us! In this class you will learn tools, techniques and safety procedures to ensure you have the best understanding of contemporary pottery. Demonstrations for all basic forms of pottery will be given including mugs, bowls, planters, dishes, and vases. Each class includes 8 hours of instruction spread out over 4 weeks. In addition to instruction you will also have access to the building during normal business hours to practice techniques and familiarize yourself with the studio.

Starting Saturday, April 9th, and running for four weeks. Noon – 2pm

Pottery classes are $250, for 8 hours of instructional sessions (and this cost includes a one month Makerspace membership, and the clay required for the class). 4 Weekly 2-hour classes, with 4 students per class.

This is the prerequisite class for Throwing 102.
